About Voices Through Europe
This project, starting in October 2018, focuses on aspects of humanity, respect and tolerance in our societies. The schools involved are: College Saint Joseph in Fontenay - le-Comte (France), Fridtjof- Nansen – Realschule, Gronau and Grundschule am Wasserturm Dallgow – Döberitz (Germany) and Begonazpi Ikastola (Bilbao-Basque Country).
Together, we will help our students to be aware, understand and act towards a positive development in our local communities and in Europe that would lead to a better inclusion of people with different mindsets, different roots and we hope that it will grow and be brighter and brighter.
We intend to achieve our goals through mediation, storytelling, drama, music and art, interactive communication, meditation… in order to SHINE A LIGHT on those who do not understand. We need to live in peace together. Peace comes from within.
We are working in the spirit of global “Shine a Light” founders Deva Premal and Miten as well as Jocelyn B. Smith.
